Rules of the School

GENERAL RULES

» Students must come to school on all working days in the prescribed uniform failing which they are liable to disciplinary action or to be sent back.
» Children have to be present in the classroom before the assembly at 7.15 a.m. for the attendance and there after proceed to the assembly ground for the Morning Assembly by 7.25 a.m.
» Punctuality is an essential aspect of school discipline. Late coming students must submit a 'Late Slip' to the class teacher. In case the act is repeated frequently the student may be sent back home.
» A student's conduct should not invite criticism within or outside the school. Objectionable behavior either within or outside the school is subject to strict disciplinary action.
» Persistent misconduct, indiscipline and examination malpractices may lead to periodic suspension or permanent expulsion from the school.
» In the absence of the teacher the class monitor/perfect will be responsible for order and discipline in the class.
» Ensuring cleanliness is the responsibility of every student. Wrappers, litters and other disposable stud must be disposed off in litter bins provided for the same.
» Bringing objectionable items to school like mobile phones, camera, etc. is strictly forbidden and will be considered a serious offence.
» The school disapproves of agitations and mass representation. Students are advised to refrain from it.
» Every child is expected to keep up the high tone of the school's excellence by his exemplary behavior.



SPECIFIC RULES

SCHOOL FEES

• All fees must be paid regularly in advance not later than the 10th of each quarter or even yearly
• A penalty of Rs. 50/- will be charged for late fee per month.
• Tuition fees are charged for 12 months.
• Fees for April and May must be paid before the term ending exam. no student will be allowed to appear for the SA II unit all fees are paid.
• Parents/guardians unable to pay the fees by the specified dates must inform the Principal stating the date when they would pay the same.
• If a child's name is struck off the rolls for a long absence without notice, he/she will be permitted to join the class only after full payment of fees.
• Fees once paid in school will not be refunded under any circumstances.


WITHDRAWALS

• Parents who wish to withdraw their ward/wards in the 1st term (April to September) will have to pay the school as well as the hostel fee for the following three months from the date of issue of school leaving certificate. Those who wish to withdraw anytime after the 1st term (October to March) will be charged fee for the whole academic year. Parents who wish to withdraw their children at the end of the academic session will have to give an advance written notice on or before 31st March of the calendar year. In such case fee will be charged only up to March. Such notice should be given by the person responsible for the pupil and not the pupil himself/herself.
• All dues will have to be cleared before a transfer certificate is issued.
• Transfer certificate will be issued one week after the receipt of the application.


EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION POLICY

• The school has an integrated curriculum of preparing students through various stages for the AISCE/AISSCE Examination held by the CBSE, New Delhi. 2.
• Parents/guardians unable to pay the fees by the specified dates must inform the Principal stating the date when they would pay the same.
• As per the new CBSE guidelines, the school will follow a programme of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE).
• The Academic Session will consist of two terms with two Formative and one Summative Assessment conducted in each. Formative Assessments 1 and 2 (FA1 & FA2) and Summative Assessment 1 (SA1) will be conducted in the First Term and Formative Assessments 3 and 4 (FA3 & FA4) along with Summative Assessment 2 (SA2) will be conducted in the Second Term.
• The assessments for scholastic subjects will be based on Grades allotted on a nine point scale of A1-E2 with corresponding Grade Points of 10.0 - 4.0 as per the CBSE formulation. A child securing E1 or E2 Grade Point less than 4.0 will have to sit for a re-examination to get a clearance. Grades will also be awarded for Work Experience and Attitude & Values.
• The Formative Assessments (FA) will comprise of written test, class work, home work, oral questions, quizzers, projects, assignment and other acitivity based on evaluations, while the Summative Assessments (SAs) will be Term End Examination based on curriculum and syllabus as circulated by the Board. Each of the Formative Assessments will carry a weightage of 10%.The weightage for both Summative Assessment I (SA I) and Summative Assessment II (SA II) will be 30% each. The total of all Formative and Summative Assessments will be calculated at the end of the year. Both the term will carry a weightage of 50% each. The average of the two terms will be added and computed out of 100-to be converted into grades finally.
• All students have to compulsorily appear for the term ending (SA I and Sa II) exams as per schedule. In case of medical/duty leave the student will have to appear for a separate exam on a freshly allotted date. No other leave will be entertained during the term End Exam except on the discretion of the Principal. In case of any other leave availed, zero marks will be awarded in the concerned subject (expect for class VIII-X).
• Students of class XI are required to pass with a minimum of 33% marks in the theory and practical exams separately in subjects involving practicals.
• 75% Attendance is necessary to be eligible for appearing in the term End Examination.
• The students of classes X and XII will follow the examination scheme approved by the Board. Outgoing board students of classes X and XII will have to deposit the school fees up to May in the month of March itself, failing which the leave certificate/admit card will be held back.
